INT. ENGINEERING ACCESS
The repairs to the conduits are partially completed. Elizabeth works quickly, but methodically on the damage. She handles her tools with a competent assuredness.
She talks to herself quietly as she works, sometimes humming.
After a few moments, she snaps the final piece back into place and examines her work. She nods with a faint smile, seeming pleased.
She pulls out her communications unit again.
There is a brief delay and then the lights in the previously damaged section are restored to normal brightness.
Elizabeth checks the readings on the monitoring device, smiling as they all now show the proper status.
INT. ENGINEERING DECK
Establishing shot of Engineering Deck.
Things are a bit less than chaotic than before, but there is still evidence of a lot of activity still going on.
Camera moves in on a team repairing a section of the slipstream core. There is a highly visible band that marks a section of it: RAYNES INDUSTRIES.
One of the technicians (WAYNE) reacts energetically and the other activity around him stops for a moment.
Wide area shot showing Rusty assisting and advising with another repair. He hands a tool to a nearby technician, motioning toward the system he was helping repair.
The camera follows Rusty as he walks past the slipstream core to the section under repair.
Wayne slides out from beneath the section he was working under. He sits up, offering Rusty a blackened component with both hands.
Rusty nods, taking the badly scorched component and studying it. He then looked beyond Wayne into the recess where the component was removed.
Wayne shrugs.
